Convivio was born from a dialogue between the Pritzker prize winner David Chipperfield and the starred chef Pietro Leemann, whose different skills came together in the creation of this collection. The name Convivio wants to pay homage to cooking as an act that is both aesthetic and convivial, capable of building community by gathering people around the preparation and pleasure of food. The designer’s design approach is revealed in the centrality of the material, exalted in its simplicity and purity in a refined juxtaposition of consistencies and surfaces.
The nature of the seabed is the inspiration for the Mediterraneo fruit bowl. LPWK- Emma Silvestris celebrate coral, transferring the magical and symbolic aura of the underwater world into the metal. Made of stainless steel, the Mediterraneo fruit bowl brings light and essential shapes that populate the sea to the table.
The pots of the Mami collection, created by Stefano Giovannoni, are a hymn to the soft and pot-bellied shapes of the traditional Italian utensils from which the delicious aromas of Sunday lunch spread throughout the house. The Mami cookware set is made of 18/10 stainless steel, with a polished finish.
The conica, the first espresso coffee maker project by architect Aldo Rossi, was born from a play of simple geometric shapes that form a mini table architecture, with a concise and elegant style. A timeless icon, the conica has a stainless steel body and a copper bottom: a refined object, with essential geometric lines that give life to a functional tool with which to prepare and serve coffee.
“Il conico” is the architecturally derived kettle created by Aldo Rossi: made of 18/10 stainless steel, it is the transformation of his geometric designs into a kitchen object, which soon became a design icon.
The soft lines of this juicer, made almost entirely of stainless steel, clearly reveal Stefano Giovannoni’s search for a sort of new classicism, of harmony, for the domestic landscape of this century.
